—a gentle fix for the fading-block mystery

If you find that the content of most of the blocks on your WordPress.com page seem faded or blurred, an unlikely setting may have been turned on; here is the fix…

1. Open your WordPress page
   Navigate to the editor view where the fading issue appears.
   
2. Click the three dots in the upper right corner
   This opens a dropdown menu with additional settings.
   
3. Scroll to the bottom and select “Preferences”
   A new panel will appear in the middle of the page.
   
4. Click “Appearance” on the left side of the panel.
   This reveals four toggle options.
   
5. Toggle off “Spotlight mode”
   This mode fades all blocks except the one you’re editing. Turning it off restores full visibility.
   
6. Breathe. Smile.
   Your blocks are back in full view—ready for clarity, rhythm, and transformation.
